Nice! Closed workorder after hours last night. Just got paid & was able to transfer it out this AM. And since the BANK is the one behind the #
speed at which transfers get credited to bank account, transfers from O*F* seem to credit dramatically faster than those from PayPal. #
But it’s the bank that makes an electronic transfer take up to 4 days, doncha know. #

Wanted to remind myself how these happen and see current interface before doing them for end user in AM along with RAM upgrades. #
Heh. Update barfed on my XP box, cryptic site error. Maybe b/c Spybot S&D resident, or maybe b/c Win update service turned off. #
@cootiehog Not that it’d be hard to be better than *that* in person. And BTW I’m a little jealous. I’d love to see Chikezie & Johns esp. #
Having trouble doing alarm clock math to set them before going to sleep for real (as opposed to falling asleep reading kids to sleep). #
The whole “leave by 7:00, that means…” is result in “um, um, um…” and a void, which is pretty sad. Need to factor in extra time, too. #
Meh. Guess it’s 5:00 on the 1st alarm, and the one I set for 5:30 is the backup. If I’m not up & flying by 6 then may as well go later. #
Seems wrong for Nokia phone to have better alarm clock interface than Blackberry. #
IIRC the Blackberry is louder & more compelling about actually *waking* me, though. William Tell Overture gets my attention. #
Sleep now. Just cuz I’m not nervous like I was with the underpaid POS system work doesn’t mean sleep is optional. #

As a sub for some of what milk & egg would do. Most had chocolate oddly. One I saved used rice or almond or soy milk. #
Salt & vinegar chips have milk. So do Florida lime and sea salt chips. Salt, lime, potato, figured ok for baby. #
Walmart brand cake mix has no milk and requires none to mix it! #
Amazing that black beans cost 18% more at walmart than stop & shop. #
You should always change the name and description and package size avalability of a product confusingly. #

Fail. If you lookup availability of xtremeware.com at GoDaddy, nowhere does it mention the domain is available in auction, promotes others. #
My sister’s zucchini relish is so good. #
Henry got his 1st taste of hot dog - tiny taste as it’s spiced meat - after I looked up sodium lactate & it sounded OK. He approved. #
Baby’s been sleeping in office over 2 hrs. Kitchen is a lot cleaner & starting living room. #
Loathe the idea of cooking & creating dirty dishes. No idea what to have, anyway, thinking mix of leftovers & some veggies… #
Have half a cabbage from brother’s garden & that’s a safe veggie for baby to try, summer squash he can eat, broccoli not as much. #
Odd, smells like someone is grilling food IN the apartment. Can’t see who it is, if it’s outside vs stove downstairs. #
@christinelu @feliciaday rocks. Hope you’ve since then watched The Guild and Dr. Horrible. #
Being a parent makes me appreciate bubble baths as a stealth cleansing trick. #

My mother has great timing. Dropped by just after supper at bad time of day on bad day. But she brought cool clothes for Henry, & veggies. #
Didn’t even notice the girls crash out to sleep behind me in the office while I entertained their brother for a while. Very cute. #
Need to find less time-consuming suppers, or start them earlier or something, but it was so good. Fried chicken, potatoes, carrots, gravy. #
We’re apparently as little as $200 away from making the $1425 we have to pay by next Friday, so that’s cool. #
Managed a good amount of sleep. Ended on crazy dream of endlessly large, partly decrepit house. #

The girls are nuts over Utz salt & pepper potato chips I bought on whim even though Henry can’t have more than a little taste due to pepper. #
They’re very strong, but good. Brand was on sale. Henry can eat plain chips & it fills a niche in his diet & convenience. #
They need to stop eating chips or they’ll have no room for burritos in a little while. #
@phillymac My best car ever was a Nissan. I’d buy one of their vans in a sec, and never again a Chrysler van. #

Ironic that my niece’s computer was fried by electric company turning on power there when they weren’t supposed to so needs me to fix it. #
Sigh… Gotta take care of dishes, plus it’s time for all good little kids to go to bed Real Soon Now. And ours, too. #
Poor Sadie. Sprung a fever again, was cold & wanted to wrap up in blankets & have extra bedtime attention. Tylenol already helped. #
That’s it for dishes for tonight. Remembered something I need to do online or I might be in bed immediately after this. #
I hate that clicking the mouse wakes the baby. #

Sadie is up and sad we can’t go to playground every day. She seems like she may still be sick, if not like last night. #

It seems wrong that updates should be so frequent and crippling that one would want to avoid them, but there you go. #
When new support people took over my old client & there was overlap, the new guys crashed them hard by making sure Windows updates ran. #
Then I fielded the angry because of it. #
Despairing of so much as reading paperwork & making call while I have the kids. Except I have to do it today, now, so tough. #
Heh. The paperwork says I was supposed to call to make appointment by 9:57 AM Wednesday. Gotta be an automated date/time calculation there. #
Perhaps I should take the cell and go into the bedroom to make the call, so Val can keep watching Sesame Street videos at my desk. #
We need more than 5 rooms. Perhaps we can work on that soon as we can pay the electricity here. #
Monday’s end user asked me to do server RAM swap 1st, start at 7:30, else 9:00 or after, as they’re busiest right at 8:00 opening. #
Waiting on answer from TPTB even though it should be no brainer. #
Price of making that call & other call & entering workorder notes was cleaning pee covered bathroom floor & potties, bathing youngest two. #

@caltechgirl IIRC it worked, but the floppy drive lost its ability to write anything, so you could, say, draw, but not save what you did. #

Put xtremeware.com on TDNAM trying 7 day auction again, but as front page featured listing, insanely low starting & reserve prices. #
Based on what people are asking for some other domains I ought to be asking several times what I am, but hey. #
Why does GoDaddy e-mail that your auction listing was successful when in fact it’s not up yet? #
But then, why does GoDaddy go years of being asked to change contact info without doing so, so you have to maintain the old e-mail address. #
Why did I assume a “make post sticky” option in WordPress? Maybe that’s the one where you have to postdate a post… #
Postdating just schedules it and you can’t force the issue? Did I find an actual weakness in WordPress? Wow. #

Guess I should go to bed, seeing as I finished the dishes over 2 hours ago & was almost asleep originally about 5 hours ago. #
Not to mention the interview at in 8 hours, before continuing the efforts to raise $600 to keep the power on. #
@Pistachio That was the problem I was having that a soft reset fixed, which I found out to do because you tweeted about Blackberry issues. #
Must have coffee and shower and wake up before interview call… #
Waiting for phone to ring. Guess I’ll poke around their web site… #
That went well. Next interview is 3 PM next Tuesday. #
Love the sound of working for them, but the hiring process is very slow & I’ll have to talk to several people over time. #
Sort of a more advanced support, where you help with scripting & custom stuff hospitals develop, not just FAQ answers. #
They warned me up front there can be job opening whiplash, where they work on hiring then decide not to if sales are down. #
Prince of Persia as a movie? Odd. But then, I was never able to get beyond the first area of the game. #
Baby with allergies makes a handy (legit) reason for not doing steady work this year & wanting from-home if I can get it. #
So we need to raise about $1000 beyond what we already have by Friday 8/22, then the rest is 6 installments. #
Think I’ll post, have a bit to eat and go to storage unit to inventory what’s there & remove comics to potentially sell off. #

This is like weirdest evening ever. Made chicken and rice to add to leftovers but Deb & baby asleep none else hungry. #
Val is having a screaming tantrum roving all over kitchen because I gave her gummi worms & offered Kool-Aid. #
But who knows what goes on in a slightly ocd 2 year old brain. #
