Tersosity & Verbosity

Twitter Updates for 2009-01-31

  • Brought kids to mega lo mart, where my prescriptions were NOT sent by MD, so they are probably waiting at CVS. #
  • Left diaper bag at my grandmother’s. Was going to let it slide, then realized spare cell phone was in it & that’s the “I MEAN IT!” AM alarm. #
  • So in AM I have to go to BoA, CVS, landlord, & gas up the truck, but at least I needn’t run after the diaper bag. (Benadryl etc is in it.) #
  • Later I realized that, duh, MRI would also show if I’d had strokes, and that might be as much doc’s motive as anything. #
  • Anyway, kids are ready and I am an hour past time for going to bed. Better hurry so I get some sleep. #
  • @BeththePQ Blood test part made me think of you. I need to take a look at which tests they are exactly, though one is sugar, duh. #
  • Hell’s Kitchen started tonight? Oops. #
  • About the same, tho lighter day. Short on people. Had no time for coffee. Missed it but not as much as expected. #
  • Flooded with painkillers, back scolded me but only a little. Not like when I skipped them all yesterday. #
  • Whatever all that means. #
  • Tweeted my blood tests and appointments. They are not here, but one following the list of tests is. Great. #
  • Noting tests: 12 hour fasting for basic metabolic, lipid, alt/sgpt, uric acid, tsh, cbc with 5 part diff. #
  • Noting appointments: 2/4 9:30 Echocardigram. 2/27 8:15 BP w/nurse, 3/16 11:15 BP & mole removal w/doc. #
  • At least the Blackberry saves sent stuff so it can be resent, and voila, salvaged so I can Google and/or Beth it. #
  • @BeththePQ It’s likely to be right after work, too, when I am dehydrated, so that goes double. #
  • Liver damage is one of them. Another is uric acid, which may be for benchmarking before I take much hydrochlorothiazide, or gout. #
  • 100 results into “tsh blood test” w/o quotes and all of it so far gives “this site may harm your computer”? Earth to Google? #
  • OK, yeah… it is now labeling EVERYTHING “this site may harm your computer.” Including ones it didn’t a short time ago. #
  • @judis217 Ah, it’s not just me. Someone probably deployed code not ready for prime time. Live, from Mountain View, it’s Saturday Morning! #
  • Anywho, TSH is apparently thyroid-related. #
  • I had better get going. Bank opened at 9:00. Assume so did CVS. Wanted to let @neatlytangled sleep as late as needed. #
  • Not that the kids make for quality sleep, but it’s rest, and the shift change is rough. #
  • Hey, this is update 9999, so next one will be 10,000. I’ll have to join Overtweeters Anonymous. #
  • @danabrit From what I understand, a couple of football teams. If they wanted to make it interesting, they’d pit teams from disparate sports. #
  • This tweet may harm your computer. #
  • Heh. http://tinyurl.com/d7ln22 #
  • CVS didn’t get my prescriptions either. Yay. And only 1 of alleged 3 for kids. #
  • Mr & Mrs Landlord sure love to talk. Had to cut them off to get home in time for @neatlytangled to go to work. #
  • @caltechgirl Yeah, I got the basic idea from searching online. Be interesting if anything actually comes of tests for once. Usually normal. #
  • @caltechgirl IIRC the only thing high last time was triglycerides, slightly and shrugworthy given disagreement as to whether it matters. #
  • Noting tests: 12 hour fasting for basic metabolic, lipid, alt/sgpt, uric acid, tsh, cbc with 5 part diff. #
  • Noting appointments: 2/4 9:30 Echocardigram. 2/27 8:15 BP w/nurse, 3/16 11:15 BP & mole removal w/doc. #
  • @neatlytangleds They have 10 oz big kid Playtex for 4.99 in green. Is that same size ok price? #
  • Waiting for them to enter Henry’s ins card info and wade thru other customers. Yay. #
  • Maybe they went to MLM after all, else check Monday with doc’s office. Maybe he intended OTC for girls, too. #
  • Trying to work out whether I want to make kielbasa as sweet & sour, or some other way like with sauerkraut. #
  • Which led me to look at recipes and then at whether I could sub for commonly specified Dijon mustard. #
  • Could have sworn I’d bought a can of sauerkraut just to have something utterly different to serve sometime. Guess it’s sweet & sour. #
  • I should create a recipe so it’s about the same each time. #
