• I think FTL will *always* be “faster than light” to me, which makes reading it funny when meant otherwise. #

• Missing my music headphones. Thinking I should test cheesy microphone headset for cord length to see if they can work for dictation. #
• Testing vista dictation, which doesn’t seem to work directly in twitter via FireFox so I am copying and pasting from wordpad. #
• Clarification on the headset think Deb has been borrowing them. So they are hooked to her computer. #
• Vista’s built-in dictation is remarkably good, easy to handle after supporting Dragon so long, but allows no text dictation in Mozilla… #
• based text fields, meaning a textbox in Twitter or in w.bloggar using the Mozilla rather than IE engine. #
• OTOH it excels at commands. On Blogblivion I was able to say “click Lintefiniel Musings” and it opened the right thing on the blogroll. #
• I should try Twitter in IE with Vista voice recognition… #
• This is a test from Internet explorer where naturally dictating into Twitter works just fine. #
