Twitter Updates for 2008-08-07
August 7th, 2008
- Darn, it’s too late to drink more coffee. #
- Another fine fall morning here in New England. Of course, we’ll complain when we have steamy summer mornings in October. #
- must install dictation software on one machine if i can’t have my hands to type #
- shame the stuff i have can’t run on vista as that is the best choice of hardware #
- I think maybe we’re all sick, even if it’s mild. #
- @slashdot really needs to fix whatever does their tweets for them. Groundhog Tweets get old. Latest is 8th of the same thing. #
- New version of Spybot S&D pops up info bubbles from systray that won’t go away & still happen after changing setting to not display them. #
- Sadie is going to go nuts if I don’t spend my day fixing her computer so the sound works on Magic School Bus again. #
- This could but likely won’t require going so far as to reinstall the OS, and could maybe require swapping sound cards to force cooperation. #
- Kids #
- @slashdot You don’t say! #
- Henry seems to think scrambled eggs are evil, so did not ingest enough to be clear on the allergy experiment front. Cake can be made no milk #
- But cake can’t be made so readily with no egg, and his birthday is in 2 weeks. #
- The two girls, on the other hand, just left me about half an egg worth out of the 7 eggs I scrambled. #
- Itching again post-food. No cheese this time. French bread, margarine, tiny bit of egg, piece of cold steamed carrot. Hmm… #
- Fucking spammers. #
- Trouble with leaving baby napping in office is it forces me to do something not in office. #
- Which moots the fact that naps are my primo time for getting anything done in office, though it also helps in kitchen. #
- “wanted to play with baby brudda” is NOT a good reason to terminate his nap, no matter how lengthy it’s been. #
- Barley malt can be an allergen… who knew? #
- Started poking because to all appearance he’s reacted to safe food in which that was an ingredient that had been off my radar before. #
- Looks like I again have to rebuild the drawer of the computer desk I bought in 1986. #
- Guess maybe it’s time to slop the kids. See how they turn noses up at leftovers. #
